In less than 30 years, the population of the City of Dieppe has more than quadrupled.  From an amalgamation of several small villages founded by Acadians, the town has become an official city and hasn’t stopped growing since.  There are currently close to 20,000 residents in Dieppe, a city which is far from being a dormitory suburb.  Indeed, over the years, many businesses have chosen to locate here, making the community a place to both work and live.

Dieppe is an attractive city located in the heart of Atlantic Canada.  It is a transportation and service centre, and a great place to live.

Committed to environmental stewardship, the City of Dieppe continues to grow while maintaining a balance between the construction of commercial and industrial buildings and the preservation of green spaces.  To date, the community boasts some thirty parks and green spaces: one city park, fifteen district parks, seven neighbourhood parks, five green islands and a linear park with 20 kilometres of trails.
